Eligibility to Apply

• Candidate must possess at least Professional Certificate in Electrical - BO 11KV from ILSAS TNB Integrated Learning Solution or Bachelor’s degree/Professional Degree in Engineering (Electrical/Electronic), Engineering (Mechanical) or preferably both.

Additional Eligibility

• At least 4 - 5 year(s) of working experience in biogas industry, power industry, palm oil mill or related field is required for this position;

• Required language(s): Bahasa Malaysia and English;

• Experience in managing operating staff, dealing and negotiating with contracted staff and contractors;
• Experience in facility management and power generation fields are an advantage.

Required Criteria

Field of work

1)    Fully in charge of stepping up transformer room, electrical and instrumentation installation.

2)    Supervise operation team and contractors, manage operations, maintenance and servicing of the plants and work with the feedstock supplier (mill) to ensure continuous running of the plants.

3)    Monitor and inspect equipment, computer terminals, switches, valves, gauges, alarms, safety devices, and meters to detect leaks of malfunctions and to ensure equipment is operating in good condition.

4) Carry out troubleshooting, repairs, and maintenance of all equipment and electrical instrument within internal capability

5)   Adhere to installation guidelines and industry best practice in order to deliver quality field operation.

6)  Order replacement parts, communicate, direct, and manage contractors on maintenance or repairing tasks.

7)  Conduct technical and safety trainings to Operators and Engine Drivers / Shift Supervisors.

8)  In-charge of Safety officer in development of safety documentation.
