Eligibility to Apply

• Sijil in Mechanical/Electrical or equivalent, or poses and electrical certificate of competency A4;

• 2-3 years of working experience in biogas industry, palm oil mill, power industry or related field;

• Operating, process control and plant troubleshooting experience

• Being self-disciplined, quick learner and motivation to learn;

• Experience in managing staff and contractors.

• Ability to carry out assigned tasks as directed.

Required Criteria

Field of work

1. Fully in charge of all electrical system including transformer room, electrical and instrumentation installation.
2. To ensure electrical equipment are maintained as per required specifications and regulations under the Energy Commission Malaysia.
3. Provide field operation and maintenance support to Plant Head.
4. Supervise operation/maintenance team and contractors during maintenance and servicing of the plants.
5. Monitor and inspect equipment, computer terminals, switches, valves, gauges, alarms, safety devices, and meters to detect leaks of malfunctions and to ensure equipment is operating in good condition.
6. Carry out troubleshooting, repairs, and maintenance of all equipment and electrical instrument within internal capability.
7. Adhere to installation guidelines and industry best practice in order to deliver quality field operation.
8. Order replacement parts, communicate, direct, and manage contractors on maintenance or repairing tasks.
9. Conduct technical and safety trainings to Operators and Technicians.
10. Assisting Plant Head in preparing daily and weekly plant performance reports.
11. In-charge of Safety officer of the plants and assist Plant Head in development of safety documentation.
12. Handle documentation works and other related duties as and when required by Plant Head.
13. Manage the scheduled waste and updating the inventory into the DOE online system.
14. Manage the spare parts and store including updating the inventory and prepare monthly stock report to Plant Head and HQ.
15. Assisting the Plant Head in preparing staff shift schedule and monitoring the attendance of the staff in the plant, preparing the OT record and summary and submitting all related reports and records to HQ.
16. Assisting the Plant Head during the purchasing exercises including preparing the Quotation and PR; and
17. Perform any other duties as assigned by Plant Head/Management as and when is necessary.
